Biography

Philippa co-leads the employment practice at Slaughter and May, where she works with some of the world's largest corporates on their knottiest employment issues. She is regularly called by clients, including FTSE100 companies and private equity, to advise on "crisis management" situations with a high level of financial and/or reputational risk, such as sensitive employment investigations, employee competition disputes and other contentious matters. She also has significant experience across the full spectrum of employment advisory and transactional matters, with deep knowledge of public and private M&A and restructuring and insolvency matters. Philippa has a particular interest in diversity and inclusion in the workplace (both internally and externally), as part of which she is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association Pastoral Committee and has advised numerous clients on diversity reporting and workplace culture.
