Biography

Alejandro Sainz O. heads the firm’s Insolvency and Restructuring practice and is also part of the firm’s Finance, Corporate Governance, and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. He has more than 30 years of experience advising and representing clients in bankruptcy, cross-border restructurings, financings and corporate reorganizations, as well as in complex corporate governance issues, and asset sales and acquisitions in distress or special situations. Alejandro is a graduate of the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico City) and has completed further postgraduate qualifications at Harvard University. He is listed as Band 1 Lawyer for Bankrupcty/Restructuring in Chambers Latin America, and as Hall of Fame Lawyer for Bankruptcy and Restructuring in The Legal 500 - Latin America.
