Biography

Vivek is a Partner and Head of Bangalore at Khaitan Legal Associates. He leads the international market and drives strategic growth for the firm. With over 15 years of experience, he has a unique background as a corporate lawyer, startup founder and an investor. Earlier he co-founded a B2B tech-enabled warehousing marketplace managing sales, people, and legal while achieving a revenue of more than $500k in the first year. He has a master's degree in business and law from Northwestern University Chicago, USA, and have worked with international law firms in Mumbai, New York, and Chicago. He has global experience of working in the US, Southeast Asia and India. Earlier Global General Counsel of a Temasek backed startup in Singapore and Legal co- lead at the world’s largest beer company, Anheuser-Bush InBev - recognized by Legal 500, under General Counsel Power List 2019. As an advisor, he has worked closely with early-stage investors, startup founders, and general counsels on strategy, legal/compliance, M&A, dispute resolution, due diligence, cross-border transactions, and supply chain risks.
