Selina Lee-Andersen
Biography
Selina Lee-Andersen practices environmental, regulatory and Aboriginal law at McCarthy Tétrault LLP in Vancouver, Canada. Selina’s national practice spans a range of industries from conventional and renewable energy, to electricity, mining, transportation, manufacturing and infrastructure. Having worked in an advisory capacity in both the public and private sectors, Selina values being able to deliver practical legal and business advice to organizations. In addition, Selina regularly provides pro bono legal services to environmental organizations, including those working to combat plastic pollution in the oceans. Selina’s practice also specializes in climate change law, where she provides strategic advice to clients on matters relating to carbon pricing, offset systems, emissions trading, carbon finance, climate change disclosure, ESG reporting, net-zero initiatives, clean fuel standards, and green technologies. She is widely published in the areas of resource management, contaminated sites, climate policy and carbon transactions, and is ranked as a leading lawyer by Chambers Canada for Environmental Law. Admitted to the Ontario (2005), Alberta (2005), and British Columbia (2008) Bars and the Bar of England and Wales (2010).
