Biography

Lisa DeMarco is a Senior Partner and CEO at Resilient LLP. She is recognized as one of the world’s leading climate change lawyers with three decades of experience in all aspects of climate change and clean energy law. Lisa regularly advises on renewable power project developments, energy storage projects, sustainable and climate finance transactions, carbon capture and storage, climate and nature related financial disclosure, corporate climate risk, ESG, green bonds, and sustainable business strategy. Lisa plays an active role for Fortune 500 companies in corporate ESG, climate change, and transition strategy, target setting, and compliance. She represents several governments and leading energy companies in a wide variety of natural gas, electricity, pipeline, and energy storage matters before various regulatory agencies. Lisa is a director of the boards at the Toronto Hydro Corporation, the International Emissions Trading Association, the MaRS Cleantech Innovation Board, and a member of the Climate Economy Strategic Council. She regularly attends the United Nations climate negotiations.
