Biography

Professor, Faculty of Law University of Calgary and Executive Director of the Canadian Institute of Resources Law and at the. He holds Bachelor of Science, Juris Doctor and LL.M. degrees and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1991. Professor Ingelson has published numerous articles in a variety of Canadian and international scholarly natural resources law journals including the Journal of Energy & Natural Resources Law and the Journal of World Energy Law & Business. He has served as the General Editor of the Canada Energy Law Service for the past 13 years, published by Thomson Reuters (Toronto) His research and teaching focuses on the regulation of the hydrocarbon, mining and electricity sectors, the energy transition, sustainability, environmental and indigenous rights issues. He has made invited presentations in the United States, Peru, Republic of Congo, China, India, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, Norway, Qatar, the U.K. and Canada.
