Lucy Pert

Biography

Lucy Pert resolves commercial disputes in the UK and abroad. She has over 20 years of commercial litigation and arbitration experience with a focus on financial services, contentious restructuring, insolvency, trusts and shareholder disputes. She has extensive experience of managing international, cross-border litigation and arbitration. Lucy hold a Bachelor of Civil Law and speak fluent French. Lucy is a member of the New York Bar and a qualified solicitor in England and Wales. Lucy previously worked for a leading global litigation funder for several years which has honed her commercial sense and makes her well-placed to advise clients on litigation funding matters, including strategies for securing funding. She has a wealth of knowledge on how to make claims viable for both funders and firms. Prior to joining Hausfeld, Lucy was of counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in London where she worked for eight years. She commenced her career at Paul, Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison in New York before joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer in the Financial Institution Dispute Resolution Group in London.
