Biography

I have over 27 years of experience in the field of labour and employment laws in Pakistan. Our legal practice in this field encompasses dispute resolution before various forums including the Supreme Court, all High Courts, Labour Courts, National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC), and various forums provided under the Payment of Wages Act, 1934, The Provincial Employees Social Security Ordinance, 1965 and the Employees Old Age Benefits Act, 1976 I advise our clients on all aspects of labour, employment and industrial relations matters including individual grievances, trade union matters, human resource matters including preparation of HR policies and procedures, retirement, reorganization, restructuring, provident fund, gratuity, and pension schemes, social audits, disability laws, maternity benefits, leave entitlements, disciplinary procedures, enquiries and investigations, minimum wage compliance, and workplace harassment laws. We have been engaged as employment law counsel in respect of numerous restructuring and M&A transactions.
