Biography

Chris Longman is Vice President and Legal Counsel at Qualcomm. He heads the company’s litigation group, overseeing Qualcomm’s global litigation docket and providing advice to the company’s product and licensing businesses in a variety of intellectual property, competition law, class action, and contract-related disputes. He has spent a good part of his career on SEP/FRAND policy and litigation—and the competition and regulatory frameworks that apply to these issues—in the United States and other jurisdictions around the world. Before joining Qualcomm, Chris was a member of the IP litigation practice group at the Covington & Burling firm.
