Biography

I am the managing partner of Hedman Law Firm and specialise in corporate and commercial operations, and M&A transactions, as well as advising technology-driven start-ups, growth companies, and venture capital investors on seed and series funding rounds/investments, and exit strategies. In addition to my legal work in the technology sector, I also support and mentor start-ups through providing pro bono legal advice, e.g., Hedman LIFT, and lecturing and mentoring participants in start-up events. Finally, I am passionate about creating innovative changes in both the legal and business landscapes around me and have co-founded a start-up company GDPR Register that helps companies to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as an award-winning free coding school, kood/Jõhvi, which promotes self-learning methods and is open to everyone.
