Biography

I am the Managing Partner at Hedman Law Firm, specialising in corporate and commercial law, M&A transactions, and advising technology-driven start-ups, growth companies, and venture capital investors on seed and series funding rounds, investments, and exit strategies. I also oversee Hedman’s Pan-Baltic operations, collaborating closely with partner law firms across the Nordic and Baltic regions. My passion lies in supporting Estonian and international start-ups and growth companies with expert legal advice on funding, partnership structures, and international expansion. In addition, I serve as a Supervisory Board Member of the Estonian Service Industry Association, where I work to strengthen the voice of Estonia’s service sector and contribute to improving the national business environment. Beyond legal practice, I am dedicated to driving innovation in both the legal and business landscapes. I have co-founded GDPR Register (https://www.gdprregister.eu/), a start-up that helps companies comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, and kood/Jõhvi (https://kood.tech/en/), an award-winning free coding school that promotes self-directed learning and is open to everyone.
