Biography

Alessandro Barzaghi is a Partner at COCUZZA, an Italian law firm with offices in Milan and Bologna. With more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer, Alessandro has been providing legal advice to companies that operate in fashion, retail and food industry sectors on a variety of legal topics that include, among others, assistance with corporate, commercial and real estate matters. He has also been assisting to foreign clients in connection with their expansion and development in Italy. In particular, Alessandro’s extensive experience comprises assistance with establishment of entities under Italian law, structuring of commercial networks, drafting contracts for corporate operations and assistance with compliance issues. Alessandro has been assisting Italian clients in various national and international commercial law issues as well as in structuring of foreign networks and with real estate issues related to management and leasing of real estate assets. Alessandro is a founder and chairman of ALMA, the Italian LLM Association. He holds the position of Treasurer of the International Commerce and Distribution Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). Alessandro is a member of the Camera degli Avvocati Internazionalisti (International Chamber).
