Biography
Agnieszka Pytlas is the Managing Partner and Head of Corporate/M&A at Penteris. She has over two decades of experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on strategic investments in Central and Eastern Europe.
She has been Managing Partner of Penteris since 2020, where she leads the firm’s Corporate/M&A practice and oversees its strategic development. Prior to that, Agnieszka Pytlas was with Magnusson for nearly two decades, where she was a Partner from 2002 and served as Managing Partner of the Warsaw office from 2015 to 2020.
Most recently, Agnieszka supported Estonian investor SUMMUS CAPITAL in its entry into the Polish market, advising on two landmark cross-border transactions with an aggregate value of EUR 100 million. She also advised IMMOFINANZ, a long-standing real estate client, on its EUR 342 million acquisition of a major cross-border retail portfolio spanning Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. The transaction required extensive international coordination and parallel cooperation between multiple European law firms.
She is recommended by Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, and IFLR for her work in Corporate/M&A, reflecting her strong reputation among clients and peers alike. Agnieszka completed an executive program at Harvard Business School in 2016.
