Biography

Kara Fricke is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Legal and Compliance, leading the legal coverage team for Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s private equity and solutions and multi-asset investing businesses. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 and previously led the legal coverage team for Alternative Investment Partners. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Kara was in-house counsel for alternative investments at Citi Private Bank and, before that, an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Kara earned a J.D. from New York University and a B.A. in International Relations from Michigan State University.
