Biography

Jenny Gabbai is Managing Director and Head of International Legal at iCapital, where she oversees EMEA and APAC legal matters as the firm continues to expand its operations, product offerings and strategic initiatives outside of the Americas. Prior to joining iCapital, Jenny was a private investment funds lawyer at Brookfield Asset Management in New York and London. She was the firm’s sole European-based private funds lawyer and helped structure the firm’s first European fund products. Jenny was also a part of Brookfield’s European real estate team, where she advised on funds-related legal and regulatory matters as well as portfolio management and investment structuring matters. Previously, she was a private investment funds associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York. Jenny is admitted to the New York Bar and holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Villanova University.
