Biography

Joshua Frankel is a Managing Director in the Legal team at PJT Partners, based in New York. Mr. Frankel joined PJT in September 2019 and primarily covers the PJT Park Hill business. Prior to joining PJT, Mr. Frankel was a senior attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, Hong Kong and London where he has over 10 years’ experience in the private funds’ alternative and liquidity transactions practice sector as well as experience working on private M&A transactions. In his previous law practice, Mr. Frankel represented fund sponsors and investors on the structuring and formation of a variety of private fund vehicles, including a range of sponsor-led secondary and other hybrid transactions, tender offers, annex funds and stake sales. Mr. Frankel received a BA from Queens College, City University of New York, and a JD from NYU School of Law. Mr. Frankel is a member of the NY Bar Association and the NYC Bar Association Private Investment Fund Committee.
