Biography

Piers joined Fried Frank almost 9 years ago to help establish the London office's asset management team. Since those early days, the team has grown to nearly 50 fee-earners, and advises clients with respect to fundraising and operating activities across asset classes. Piers has experience in structuring and forming funds with investment strategies across private equity/buyout, credit (including direct lending, mezzanine, and others), infrastructure, energy and renewables, special situations, venture capital and growth equity, and real estate asset classes. Piers has helped raise evergreen, open-ended and semi-liquid credit and infrastructure products. Clients also seek his advice in relation to managed accounts, co-investment and annex funds, fund financing arrangements, carried interest and sponsor co-investment incentive schemes, and secondary transactions (including GP-led secondaries and other liquidity solutions) in the private funds space.
