Biography

Tiwalola is an exceptional lawyer who has been an integral member of the Corporate & Commercial team at AELEX, with specific focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, Intellectual Property and Competition. She has extensive experience advising local and multinational companies on corporate structure, regulatory compliance, and acquisitions for both strategic investors and private equity firms, and she has worked on many complex transactions across various sectors. She is passionate about client satisfaction, teamwork, and making impact. She has dedicated her time to contributing to industry associations such as WSG, ABA, IBA and INTA. She is currently the General Secretary of IPLAN and the Group Leader for the M&A Practice Group of the World Services Group. Tiwalola is undoubtedly a high achiever, and this is reflected in her winning the coveted Rising Star Award at the IFLR 2021 Africa Awards. She is also ranked as a Rising Star by the IFLR 1000 for M&A work and by the Legal 500 for Commercial, Corporate and M&A. She is also recognized as a global leader by the World IP Review.
