Biography

Sergio Fuentes, desalination and reuse corporate manager of Aguas Nuevas group, civil engineer, sciences master degree of Politechnical University of Madrid, with more than 25 years of experience in the water industry, working in different companies and places along Chile, and since 2009 in Aguas Nuevas group developing differents roles as Regional Manager and Corporate Manager. During his career have been ahead of process like waste water treatment implementation (building and operating activated sludges plants), companies´s taking control and selling, managing of regulated water companies and desalination plants. Currently, also CEO of Aguas del Sol, company that will be in charge of Operation and Maintenance of Codelco´s North District seawater desalination plant, largest chilean cooper mining company.
