Biography
Sherry Levin Wallach is Special Counsel to the Legal Aid Society of Westchester County (LASW) and principal and founder of STR SOLUTIONS LLC focusing on AI integration with enhanced commercial results for attorneys, law firms, and legal organization with a focus on cross boarder expansion. She is Co-Chair of the Committee on the New York Bar Exam and a member of the NY Chief Administrative Judge’s Advisory Committee on Artificial Intelligence and the NY Courts.
She is a leader in integration artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into the legal profession, laws, and regulations. She is the co-chair of the NYSBA International Section’s Technology Committee and a member of the NYSBA Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology.
Levin Wallach is a Board member of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NYSACDL). She serves on its Legislative Committee and co-chairs its Technology Committee. Levin Wallach is a member of the Chief Defenders Association of New York (CDANY) and its Technology Committee.
Levin Wallach is an Officer of the International Bar Association (IBA) and a Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. She is a member of the IBA Access to Justice Committee, the IBA Technology Committee, IBA Bar Issue’s Commission and IBA Criminal Law Committee and a member of the working group that drafted the IBA’s “The Future Is Now: Artificial International and the Legal Profession”.
She develops and lectures at continuing legal education programs for NYSBA, The International Bar Association, SOMOS, New York University School of Professional Studies, University of Florence, Fordham Law School, New York University School of Law, Barcelona Bar Association, ALM LegalWeek, NFT.NYC, TechnoEast, UIA Conference of International Lawyers, NYSACDL, NYSDA, CDANY, the Virgin Islands Bar Association, and the Westchester County Bar Association.
In 2022, she served on the Advisory Board for New York University’s Emerging Technologies Collaborative. Levin Wallach is co-founder of the NYSBA Young Lawyers Section Trial Academy and coached the Pace Law School Mock Trial Team for two years She has taught at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy at Hofstra University School of Law and coached and judged mock trial competitions.
Levin Wallach served as the Deputy Executive Director of LASW for 2019-2025 and as the President of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) for 2022-2023. Levin Wallach began her career in the District Attorney’s Office of Bronx County. She practiced with the law firm of McAloon & Friedman, PC, where she handled medical malpractice defense and then went on to be a principal at her law firm Wallach & Rendo, LLP.
Levin Wallach earned her Juris Doctorate from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her undergraduate BBA from George Washington University.
