Biography
Rebekah Grover, Principal Counsel, International Finance Corporation
Rebekah Grover is a Principal Counsel at the International Finance Corporation, having joined IFC in 2005 following several years in private practice at a law firm in Miami, Florida. She is the global lead in the IFC legal department for fintech investments and has worked on a variety of private equity, project finance, corporate, M&A, and structured finance transactions throughout East Asia, South Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
Working for IFC, Ms. Grover lived in Mexico City, Mexico from 2013 to 2019 and is currently based in Bogota, Colombia. Her practice now focuses primarily on IFC’s investments in Latin America and the Caribbean, including various infrastructure projects, investments with financial institutions, renewable energy projects, climate finance transactions, health and education investments, and fintech investments, with a special focus on early-stage technology-related businesses.
Ms. Grover received a JD from Harvard Law School in 2001, and a BA with specializations in international affairs and economics from George Washington University in 1998. She is a member of the Florida Bar and is fluent in English and Spanish. Ms. Grover was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.
