Natasha Latiff

Biography

Natasha Latiff is an international lawyer and expert on social sustainability, gender and human rights. An advocate at heart, she has worked in Afghanistan for over 15 years in the midst of deep-seated conflict, to bring justice and remedy for victims in some of the most complex human rights cases. Her direct work with survivor groups and affected communities led to several technical appointments to advise and provide human rights training to UN agencies, governments and businesses, and, act as a bridge between them and affected communities to resolve human rights violations. She brings 15 years of on-the-ground field experience to her Singapore enterprise, Fair Future, which was established to help companies in Asia establish strong foundations around social sustainability, business and human rights - and meet new standards and regulations. She is also the founder of women-led non-profit organisations, SAHR and Women for Justice Afghanistan, that is focused on strengthening due diligence and access to justice for victims of all forms of human rights violations in various countries in the Global South and Afghanistan. Her work has gained the recognition of leaders such as President Bill Clinton in 2008, and, the former UK Attorney General of the United Kingdom, Dominic Grieve, in 2010. In 2023, she was awarded the Women of the Future Southeast Asia Award for her mentorship work on access to justice reform in the Global South. She was also assigned a Special Relationship with Ashoka in 2024 and is part of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders Class of 2024, to further her social impact work.
