Isabel San Martin
Biography
Isabel San Martín is a lawyer qualified in Spain and New York, specializing in International Arbitration, Dispute Resolution, and Public International Law. Isabel is an Associate at LALIVE, based in their London office. She has experience in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations under a wide variety of rules, with a particular focus on Latin America and Europe. Isabel has experience in a variety of sectors, including mining, renewable energy, construction and banking and finance. She also has experience in human rights law and other areas of Public International Law. Isabel previously worked as an Associate at King & Spalding in Paris, as a Research Assistant to the LCIA, and as a Policy Advisor to the Spanish Delegation to the United Nations, during Spain's membership of the UN Security Council. She has also trained at various law firms in Spain and the UK, and worked at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, in Washington D.C.
