Miguel Perez Guerra

Biography

Miguel Perez Guerra is a Partner at Osborne Clarke's EU & UK Competition practice. He focuses on antitrust topics in the tech sector, and splits his time between London and Brussels. Miguel spent 12 years in house at various multinational corporations. For 10 of those years he held senior legal positions in Big Tech (Amazon, Google, PayPal), handling high-profile competition cases throughout the EMEA region in the digital space across conduct investigations, litigation and M&A clearances, and ultimately leading PayPal's antitrust team in Europe. In his last two years in industry, Miguel headed the European legal specialists function at AB InBev, and dealt with strategic issues across competition law, distribution, IP, regulatory, and commercial topics. Prior to moving in-house, he was a senior associate at Linklaters’ competition & antitrust team, and was an associate at Clifford Chance’s European competition and regulation group before that. He qualified into the telecoms & utilities department at Spanish law firm Garrigues. He is a graduate in law and in economics by Comillas-ICADE University in Madrid, and has studied international and EU law at Georgetown University and at King’s College London.
