Biography

Ms. France Chain is a Senior Legal Analyst in the OECD Anti-Corruption Division. Her principal responsibilities involve assessing countries’ implementation of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, including Canada, Korea, the UK and Colombia, and the development of thematic studies such as the Toolkit for raising awareness and preventing corruption in SMEs, Drivers of Anti-Corruption Compliance and the Detection of Foreign Bribery. Ms. Chain was recently in charge of the review of the OECD Anti-Bribery Recommendation, which resulted in the successful adoption of the 2021 OECD Anti-Bribery Recommendation, including the updated Good Practice Guidance on Internal Controls, Ethics and Compliance. She is the contact point for the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group, as well as for the private sector and civil society for anti-corruption related matters
