Caroline Phillips
Biography
Caroline joined Slaughter and May in 2005 and has been a partner in their financing practice since 2015. Caroline advises on a wide range of financing matters, including acquisition loan finance, debt capital markets, securitisation, derivatives and non-bank lending and acts for clients across a broad range of sectors, including insurance, property, chemicals and energy. She has a strong track record in advising FTSE 350 clients, large private companies and mid-market sponsors on acquisition financing. Caroline is the chair of the International Financial Law Reform Subcommittee of the International Bar Association and is also a visiting lecturer on the Financial Law Masters Programme at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.
