Biography

Jeremy Agnew is a Managing Director and Senior Counsel supporting Global Infrastructure Partners, a part of BlackRock, based in New York. He was previously Head of Funds Legal, EMEA for BlackRock in London. Prior to joining BlackRock, Jeremy was an Associate in the Asset Management team of Matheson in Ireland and before that, in the Corporate team of Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney. Jeremy graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Law and a B Asian Studies from the Australian National University. He has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australia. He obtained a Masters in Law with Distinction from Georgetown University Law Center and was awarded the Thomas Bradbury Chetwood, SJ prize for graduating first in his class. He is admitted as a lawyer in New York, England and Wales and New South Wales, Australia.
