Biography
Caroline grew up in Barcelona (Spain) and in French-speaking Switzerland.
She holds a bilingual (German/French) law degree from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and a postgraduate degree in International Business Law from ESADE Law School in Barcelona (Spain).
After graduating as a lawyer, Caroline worked in the Corporate M&A department of a law firm in Zurich. She then worked as an M&A manager and in-house lawyer for a Swiss company that has been a leader in the calcium carbonate industry and distribution of chemicals for 130 years and has 175 plants in 50 countries. In 2013, Caroline co-founded a life sciences’ start-up company with two scientists, where she served as Managing Director and Administrator as well as co-owner.
Since the beginning of 2018, Caroline has been working as a partner at her own law firm Conrad&Partner Advokatur AG in Baden, close to Zurich (Switzerland). She primarily advises SMEs on all corporate and M&A, commercial and labour law matters.
Caroline has been on the board of directors of two middle-sized companies for several years.
In 2023, Caroline successfully completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies at the University of Berne and qualified as Certified Board Member (Rochester-Berne Executive Programs).
Caroline is fluent in German, Spanish, English and French. She also has a basic knowledge of Italian and Catalan.
