Biography
Audrey Chen joined JunHe in 1993, she has over three decades’ experience with FDI, corporate and M&A, private equity in sectors such as energy and natural resources, manufacturing, retails, pharmaceutical, agriculture, hi-tech, auto/EV. Audrey works with pension funds, Universities, major corporations including Anglo American, Air France, Barclays, BHP Billiton, China Aluminum, China Shipping, Clorox, Canada Goose, ConAgra, CPPIB, Dell, Eldorado, Fairfax, Fiat, Fidelity, GE, Glencore, Hortifrut, Hyundai, Mercuria, Orkla, Peabody, Peugeot, Rio Tinto, Samsung, Shopify, Vanderbilt, Yale Univ., etc., for which she led many cross-border M&A transactions/FDI projects, and provided strategic planning and advice re corporate, FDI reviews/competition filing, post-merger consolidations and business expansions.
Audrey has been recognized as one of “Thought Leaders/Global Leaders” for Competition, Corporate Governance, M&A, Mining lawyer by WWL; Deal Maker of Asia/Top 10 M&A Lawyer by Asia Legal Business, Leading Corporate and M&A Lawyers by Legal 500, etc.
Audrey received her BA and Master of Law in China, and LL.M., from UC Berkeley, admitted in China and US (New York and California).
Audrey has been on the Compensation Committee and Partners’ Review/Promotion Committee of JunHe. Before joining IBA Corporate and M&A as its officer, Audrey was on IBA’s Law Firm Management Committee’s advisory board. Audrey was the board member of Lex Mundi, and served as Jurisdictional Council Member of China for Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
