Biography

Nils Brammer Lawyer/In-house lawyer Admitted to the Bar Association Düsseldorf General Counsel of Standardkessel Baumgarte Group, Germany (a 100% subsidiary of JFE Engineering Corporation, Japan) Nils´ 25 yr experience in the construction industry, focussed on the power plant business and industrial boiler business, provides him a deep insight in all legal affairs and issues in this project driven industry. Next to the legal core work - negotiations of contracts for international projects with high legal, commercial and technical complexity and the related litigation cases in court and arbitration - he is deeply involved in his corporation´s project risk management and manages its insurance sector. His experiences not only as the leading in-house lawyer but also his positions in the past, in which he dealt with business and project development, project finance and BOO of power plant and renewables projects provide him the necessary skills and the overview to support his clients in both, hands-on legal work and strategic planning and tactics regarding long-term industrial projects. He is active in Germany, EU, UK and USA and occupied a number of directorships for daughter companies of his corporation, e.g. in France and in UK.
