Biography

Christopher Seppälä is Partner of Counsel in the International Arbitration Group of White & Case LLP, Paris and has served as counsel or arbitrator in many ICC and other arbitrations. His main areas of practice are international commercial arbitration and international construction. He is the Legal Advisor to the FIDIC Contracts Committee, a former Vice-President Emeritus of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and currently FIDIC’s representative on that Court. Chris was co-chair of the group which prepared the ICC Commission’s updated (2019) Report on Construction Industry Arbitrations and a member of the group which prepared the 2016 edition of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts.
