Biography

Ms. Heeeun Jeong started her career at the Korea Fair Trade Commission(KFTC) in 1999. She has been working at various divisions for competition policy and consumer policy since then, such as Competition Policy Division, Cartel Investigation Division, Consumer Policy Divion, and General Council of the KFTC. She is currently working as a Senior Director of Human Resource and Development Division. She has international cooperation carrer. From 2005 to 2007, she handled OECD Competition Committee matter at the International Cooperation Division. From 2014 to 2015 she worked as a Director of the OECD Korea Policy Centre in Seoul. From 2010 to 2012, she dispatched to Competition Bureau of Canada and worked as a Competition Law Officer at Criminal Matters. From 2017 to 2020, she worked as an Antitrust and Consumer Protection Attache at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China.
