Folakunmi Pinheiro

Biography

Dr. Folakunmi Pinheiro is a competition lawyer and researcher working on antitrust enforcement and economic development in Africa. His research focuses on the relationship between competition law and the informal economy, and draws on insights from political economy, industrial policy, and development economics. Currently, Dr. Pinheiro supervises undergraduate students in competition law at the University of Cambridge. He is also a qualified lawyer in Nigeria and has advised a range of clients on competition enforcement, merger control, and institutional design.
