Biography

Thula has over 28 years experience in competition law, of which 18 years were as an enforcer and 7 years as a consultant and technical advisor to competition authorities. He has worked in several countries, with previous full-time work at the Australia Competition and Consumer Commission (2002), the competition and consumer authorities in Botswana (2011-2016), Eswatini (2019-20) and Zambia (1998 - 2011). He has been in private law practice since 2021 focusing on competition, company and data protection laws. Thula holds qualifications in law, management, and competition/micro economics.
