Nana Adjoa Asante

Biography

Nana Adjoa is a compliance & regulatory expert, a telecommunications policy expert and cultural heritage protection specialist. As Secretary to Ghana's National Communications Authority, she ensures efficient corporate governance. Nana Adjoa is a board member of the Institute of ICT Professionals, Street Children Empowerment Foundation, and Women in Mining Ghana. Nana Adjoa has certificates in Sustainable Dispute Resolution and International Anti-Corruption from University of Milan, Italy, a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in International Communication and Marketing. She also has a Massachusetts Institute of Technology Certificate (MITx) in Policy for Science, Innovation and Technology. She is also the founding director of Social Bridge, an NGO focused on social intervention projects. Nana Adjoa has expertise in corporate and commercial law, minerals and mining law, intellectual property law, and labor law. She has worked with reputable law firms including JLD& MB Legal and Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer and has represented Ghana at international organizations like ITU, WIPO, and UNESCO. Nana Adjoa was Executive Director of the National Folklore Board, gaining international recognition and introducing flagship projects. She enjoys travel and watching Netflix series.
