Biography

Maria Elena is counsel of Santamarina and Steta Law Firm, she is based in Mexico City, she specializes in immigration matters and has more than 26 years of experience in strategic immigration planning for employees of multinational companies doing business in Mexico. She also works closely with clients to help them achieve and maintain compliance with laws and regulations before the National Immigration Institute (INM). She performs pro-bono work for various civil society institutions and has participated as a panelist in various national and international Webinars.
