Biography
Nicole Calò-Niiranen is the Global Head of Antitrust for ABB, a technology leader in electrification and automation, enabling a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. The company’s solutions connect engineering know-how and software to optimize how things are manufactured, moved, powered and operated. Nicole is responsible for representing and managing the ABB Antitrust Center of Expertise that has a key role in enabling the ABB Group to globally act in compliance with antitrust law. Nicole has been with ABB since October 2013. Prior to joining ABB, Nicole worked as antitrust lawyer for Freshfields, Bruckhaus Deringer in London, as well as for Clifford Chance in Paris. Nicole holds a masters’ degree in European law from ASSAS University in Paris, as well as a bachelor’s degree in law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
