Dietmar Huemer
Biography
Dietmar Huemer runs Huemer | Legal Solutions, a boutique law firm based in Vienna, Austria. He studied at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz (Mag. iur.) and in the USA at the University of Chicago Law School (LL.M.). He was licensed in 1998 and became partner in a major Austrian business law firm. His fields of specialisation include IT, telecommunications and data protection, international transactions, leasing, public sector outsourcing and financing of infrastructure projects, procurement law. He also gives lectures on these topics on a regular basis. His clients include renowned companies in Austria and abroad, the public sector, in particular cities and municipalities, as well as church institutions. He contributed decisively to the development of the limited partnership model for municipalities in Upper Austria and provides legal counsel for public sector outsourcing projects in the municipal and healthcare sectors. Dietmar Huemer is an internationally renowned expert in the areas of IT, e-business, telecommunications and data protection. He is a member of the International Bar Association and of Ecomlex, a Europe-wide pool of leading IT and e-business experts.
