Biography
Tomasz Stasiak leads Wolf Theiss' Polish Real Estate & Construction team since his arrival. He boasts over 25 years of professional experience in the Central and Eastern European real estate market, with extensive expertise spanning all industry sectors, including logistics, office spaces, retail, leisure, and residential properties. Tomasz advises on the entire spectrum of real estate activities, from land acquisition through the development process, including permitting, financing, and leasing, all the way to disinvestment and portfolio transfers. He has also served as an arbitrator in real estate disputes. Tomasz is an attorney-at-law admitted to the Warsaw Bar Association. He has represented global investors and developers in landmark projects across Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, and Lithuania. Notable recent transactions include the successful acquisition of the distressed Europa Centralna retail centre by Mitiska REIM and the restructuring of Tesco's real estate portfolio, involving the sale of more than 25 shopping centres in Poland to various buyers. His ambition is to stay close to clients and assist them with new challenges resulting from the costly capital market. Lately, he has been more frequently engaged in green asset transformation and ESG challenges. Outside work, Tomasz supports women in business and is active in the Top Woman in Real Estate initiative. In his free time, he enjoys motorcycle touring and scuba diving.
