Biography
Prior to establishing KPS in 2014, Dinka Kovačević was a partner at a reputable Croatian law firm.
Dinka has over 20 years of experience as attorney at law and holds a law degree from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law as well as an LL.M. degree from the Cambridge University, Faculty of Law.
Her core practice areas are corporate, banking and financing, M&A, energy law and litigation. Dinka regularly advises clients on various issues of commercial and business law. She has extensive experience in representing and advising domestic and international companies, banks and financial institution and worked on several financing projects for international banks and financial institutions.
She participated in numerous transactions, including privatisation of several banks and number of M&A projects. Dinka managed legal due diligence teams and participated in investment projects in various industries, such as telecoms, media, hotel industry, gaming, agriculture and infrastructure.
With the development of renewable energy industry in Croatia, Dinka advised clients on the renewables since 2008. She led legal teams on the due diligence exercises and provided legal assistance in connection to the construction and development of wind farms, biomass power plant and cogeneration power plant. She also advised foreign and domestic entities on Croatian electricity market and cross-border trade in electricity.
Dinka is the Honorary Legal Advisor of the British Ambassador in Croatia. She is continuously ranked in Legal 500, Chambers and Partners as well as in IFLR1000.
