Lucinda Soon
Biography
Lucinda is a solicitor of England and Wales, an organisational psychologist, and academic. She brings together over a decade of legal experience in professional ethics and regulatory policy with insights from psychology and social science. Lucinda's academic research focuses on legal ethics and wellbeing in the legal profession, combining perspectives from law, psychology, business and management with diverse empirical methods and methodologies. She teaches behavioural ethics and psychology for lawyers at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London. Lucinda also works with legal sector organisations and professional and regulatory bodies on research and policy projects to promote ethical and healthy outcomes in law. She holds several board and committee roles in the UK and internationally, as a trustee for LawCare, the mental health and wellbeing charity for the UK legal profession; co-chair for the IBA Professional Wellbeing Commission; an officer of the IBA Academic and Professional Development Committee; and co-convenor for the Society of Legal Scholars' Practice, Profession and Ethics section.
