Biography

David is a Senior Adviser at Travers Smith, advising on international matters, and was a partner at the firm, and a member of the firm's corporate group focussing on international mergers and acquisitions and private equity, from 1999 until 2022. He was the Managing Partner of Travers Smith between January 2015 and June 2021, and for many years was chair of the firm's International Board. David currently represents the UK's Major Corporate firms on the Council of The Law Society of England and Wales, and is The Strategy Officer of the IBA's Law Firm Management Committee.
