Biography
Jérôme Assouline specializes in individual tax matters and trust and estate planning.
A lawyer admitted in Paris and in New York, Jérôme has significant experience advising for foreign persons on French tax and real estate matters. In this context, Jérôme has developed a deep knowledge of French laws and regulations governing the situation of foreign trusts.
Jérôme Assouline is the author of numerous legal articles and regularly speaks at professional conferences.
He is the Chair of the Individual and Private Client Tax committee of the International bar Association (IBA). He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Society of Estate and Tax Practitioners (STEP) and the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF)..
Jérôme Assouline is also a lecturer at Paris Dauphine University and the ESSEC business school.
Prior to joining the firm as a partner, Jérôme Assouline practiced with KPMG and Jones Day.
