Biography

Patrick Späth is a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP in Berlin. He advises clients on compliance and corporate governance. conducts internal investigations, and is counsel in follow-on litigation matters. Over the past 15+ years, his work has covered a variety of topics, including anti-bribery, environmental regulation, mobbing allegations, and tax fraud. His practice has a particular emphasis on Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) related topics and the ESG requirements deriving from the law of the European Union (CSRD, NFDR, draft CSDDD), as well as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. He is a member of the Committee for Corporate Social Responsibility and Compliance of the German Bar Association and a lecturer at Humboldt-University Berlin.
