Biography

Chertorivski is an experienced bicultural attorney in the media and entertainment industry, licensed to practice in New York and Mexico. She is the SVP, Business and Legal Affairs for TelevisaUnivision streaming plataforma ViX and ViX+, where she leads a team of lawyers and paralegals overseeing all original productions and content licensing deals. Previously, she was VP, Business and Legal Affairs for NBCUNIVERSAL Telemundo Enterprises, in charge of scripted productions in the US, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Spain. Before joining Telemundo, Rita worked in Mexico as an associate at one of Mexico’s top corporate law firms, as a law clerk at a federal court of appeals, and as law professor. She is originally from Mexico City, she studied her bachelors degree in law at the Universidad Iberoamericana, and her LL.M. at the University of Miami. She is based in Miami where she has live for more than 16 years with her husband, two daughters and her dog. Rita loves to travel, read and workout.
