Biography

Dr. Engy Serag is the Executive Director of Contracts and Claims at Orascom Construction in Egypt, the Middle East, and North America. She is an Adjunct Faculty at the Construction Engineering Department at American University in Cairo and a former Assistant Professor at San Diego State University. She has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has publications on construction contracts and claims management, FIDIC contract interpretation, and productivity loss. Along with other professional associations, Dr. Serag is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for Civil Engineering at Coventry University and the American University in Cairo. She is a registered arbitrator in the Egyptian Ministry of Justice and Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration
