Biography

LLB (Abuja), BL, LLM (Dundee), MSc. (Dundee), PGDip (Hull), PhD (Hull) Nkiruka is an energy and environmental policy specialist, with over ten years’ experience in research and training relating to energy, environment, and climate change. Since childhood, she is passionate about environmental sustainability and sharing knowledge on the process. Nkiruka is a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a Facilitator and Project Supervisor with the National Open University of Nigeria, and currently serves a member of the following working groups: the Nigeria Working Group on Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights, the Nigeria Circular Economy Working Group, and the Nigeria Climate Change Legal Working Group.
