Biography

Ewa Rutkowska is an expert in Life Sciences & healthcare and product law & product liability. She also works pro bono for non-profit organisations. She has many years of experience in product liability litigation, including highly publicised cases of global product recall from the market. Ewa also represents clients in other cases before courts of law and arbitral tribunals. She is the Chair of the Nominating Committee of the Court of Arbitration at the Confederation of LEWIATAN and a member of the Revising Committee at the Polish Arbitration Association. She is also a member of the mediators / conciliators team of the Center for Amicable Resolution of Food Disputes at the Polish Federation of Food Producers of the Employers' Union and the Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the Product Law and Advertising Committee of the International Bar Association. For years, she has been recommended in legal rankings: international (Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 EMEA) and Polish (ranking of the best-known Polish daily paper “Rzeczpospolita”) as a leading lawyer in Life Sciences in Poland, and by the Who's Who Legal 2020 ranking, in the area of product liability.
