Biography

Aarta Alkarimi is an international arbitrator and accredited mediator with extensive experience in energy, construction, and major infrastructure disputes. She is frequently appointed as sole arbitrator and tribunal chair in complex, high-value proceedings administered under leading institutional rules. She is a founding partner of a Dubai-based arbitration boutique and has acted as arbitrator in over 50 matters, many arising from large-scale energy and construction projects, in both Civil and Common Law systems. She is actively involved in the development of international arbitration through institutional roles, committee leadership, publications, and regular participation as a speaker and moderator at international conferences, with a particular focus on projects and energy arbitration.
