This webinar examines how competition/antitrust agencies in the United States, European Union and Canada are addressing issues arising from the deployment of algorithmic pricing tools, including an update on the latest developments in each of these jurisdictions. 
The webinar will cover:
• Key competition law concerns relating to algorithmic pricing, including price fixing and competitor collaborations, hub-and-spoke theories (vendor liability), unlawful information exchange, and unilateral conduct/exclusionary concerns.
• Challenges in enforcement, including detection and proof of collusion, tacit collusion versus illegal agreements, and the role of intent. 
• Recent agency and legislative developments, including the DOJ/FTC Statements of Interest in algorithmic pricing litigation (eg, In re RealPage, Inc) and United States v RealPage, as well as the California amendment effective from 1 January 2026. 
• Private damages litigation for algorithmic pricing conduct. 
• Compliance strategies, including risk assessment, monitoring of algorithmic pricing tools, and how companies can revise compliance policies to address competition law risk.
