A webinar presented by the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum and supported by the IBA Young Lawyers' Committee
This webinar is designed to equip junior lawyers with essential advocacy and drafting skills that are critical for building confidence and competence in the early stages of their careers. By focusing on practical strategies and introducing the opportunities available through the IBA, the purpose of this webinar is to encourage young professionals to engage more with the international legal community and strengthen their networks across the Asia Pacific region.
This webinar will consist of three elements:
- written advocacy – practical tips on structuring compelling memorials and submissions and crafting persuasive arguments grounded in strong legal research and avoiding common drafting pitfalls;
- oral advocacy – effective strategy for oral advocacy before tribunals or courts; and
- practical guidance – how young lawyers can get involved in advocacy.
